	WINDMILL ROW Buildings made of stone wait in a field of golden grain at the end of the Desert of Tocks. Their red banners wave atop circular, red roofing, while insect wing blades are moved by the winds. DESERT OF TOCKS

Rend sand sweeps across the ground like the waves of an ocean, coursing over and around monolithic spires of rock piled far as the eye can see. All around are the remnants of clocks, pocket watches, sundials, grandfather clocks, any manner of them have been broken and battered and left behind to weather the harsh desert. There’s no oasis here, just heat and the tick-tock of long-since dead time-tellers.
